After relocating to the East Bay a couple years ago I'm hoping we've found our new mechanic. We have a for our 2000 528i (e39) with around 58,000 miles on it as of August 2019, and we want it to last forever... Nothing quite as solid as an old German car. We had a reliable shop in SF working on it from time to time but we were never able to figure out the 'little things' that would pop up with a car this old. Its had a couple of reoccurring electrical anomalies and our the check-engine light came on for the first time. Rob was very straight forward with me regarding what types of diagnostics they would run, the troubleshooting they would need to do, and how much it that initial labor would cost. Once they hammered out what the problems were he contacted me with a price for what the repair would run before they went ahead with it. They finished the repairs in a few hours and had the car washed before I came back to pick it up. Its nice to pick up a car that drives better, and is cleaner than you left it.
