Probably one of the best experiences I have had under the circumstances of not wanting to part with my hard-earned money for an old car. Mike was one of the most down-to-earth mechanics shop's guys I have dealt with. I have been intermittently unemployed over the years, which makes it easy and unavoidable to ignore maintenance that causes inconvenience rather than significant problems. I did not feel judged for deferring. I had 2 cars demanding significant attention at the same time and they assessed each car and he walked me through all of my options. I never felt rushed, that I wasting time by asking too many questions, or that my need to control the costs a lot more cloesly than the cars demand were at all inconvenient, as I have felt at other places. They were able to get one back on the road and help plot a path for dealing with what remains for that one and the whole agenda for the other car. I was given options and sound reasoning for deciding what to do. They obviously have the experience with BMWs and leveraged that to help me determine what car was "worth it" for the short and long term based on their understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of each model. Mike's ability to describe the causes and effects of every issue with the car and put them in perspective and the manner in which he did it really put me at ease and made me more knowledgeable by the end of the consultation without having had to feel ignorant at the beginning. The work was handled quickly and decisively. I was back on the road driving just as spiritedly as before with a lot more confidence about the safety and performance of the car. I sense that there are not too many shops with experts like Mike. The bimmers are in good hands with him.
